Not exactly sure where in LA you live if Marina Del Rey is too far away, but I study with Guro Inosanto's Pentjak Silat Serak teacher, Pak Victor de Thouars, who is located in Bellflower. Give him a call, although I'm not sure if he's accepting any new students right now.

If you are located more eastern LA you could try the PDT Academy in Monrovia for some Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara, but I don't know enough about them to recommend one way or the other, just mentioning.

I'm not sure, but I thought that I had heard that there is a chapter of the Pentjak Silat USA organization somewhere in LA, but I don't have any info on that. Try checking their website.
