has anyone got a copy? i believe tony somera from bahala na filipino martial arts is selling it. there were some editing areas i think because was little rushed not sure. misspelling and some pics aren't 100% correct with captions, but i haven't my own copy yet so it's hard to give fair critique. either way i am still getting it. i'm sure there is a lot to offer in this book. maybe some day their will be a revised version with the help of banbang ,leader of sundanese silat and herman's brother.

I plan to get it, is there a website or other info you could post or email me? I am interested and would also like to know who trains/studies Mande Muda in my area (Silicon Valley)...

      Thanks Family,

      ~John.

I picked the book up on Amazon.com and despite some minor typos, it's a well-done and informative book and a great addition to any martial arts library. Pak Herman worked on this book for many years and I am overjoyed that Grandmaster Tony, along with Mr. Wiley, has taken the time and care to help it see the light of day. It has just become required reading for all of my students.
It also makes my heart ache to read the words of my teacher. I will always miss his presence and his laugh.
        Wa salaam,
        Rennie Saunders

I agree with Guru Rennie. Its a great addition to a library and although I don't have Guru Rennie's personal history with the subject it still stirs emotions to read the words of this amazing teacher and messenger of a a great art.

One small caveat, its not exactly chockfull of techniques and applications if that is what you are looking for. However it has tons of information on Indonesian history and the history and development of the Mande Muda system. A very informative read, but like I said, if you are looking for a system manual you might be disappointed.
